We are hiring! We are looking for a volunteer to join us as the Manager of Education!
Aay's Village is a non-for-profit organization working in a small jungle village in Laos, South East Asia. Our mission is to provide children with the tools they need to create the future they deserve. We do this by offering evening studies to over 120 children aged 8-18 every day. Our team consists of young adults situated all over the world who volunteers every day towards our mission in Laos, in addition to a local administration consisting of Aay (our founder), a teacher and an assistant. We also welcome volunteers to our house in Laos to help us. As the Manager of Education, you will be responsible for our Learning Lab, which is a system of pedagogic and digital apps where the students learn English and IT. You will also be responsible for weekly reporting, graduation, obtaining new students, exams and learning plans. You can work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a good internet connection and a phone. Qualifications: • Educational or pedagogic experience • Higher education started or finished • Available to work from 2-10 hours per week • A positive team worker and a good communicator • Efficient and independent Join a young and dynamic team in developing Aay's Village further and get the possibility of spending your spare time changing children's lives through education. You will learn how your abilities and qualities can make a change, and the feeling of working as a volunteer is incredibly rewarding. The position is 100 % unpaid, like all international positions within Aay's Village. However, team members may get their Laos work trip costs covered.
